82 students from Years 7 and 8 went on a Geography trip to Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh.
The pupils had a thoroughly interesting and enjoyable day. Firstly, they watched a 360 degree film in the snow dome on the origins of stars and asteroids. Then they designed an earthquake proof building and completed a decision making exercise on where to build a hospital in the earthquake prone area of San Francisco. Finally, they enjoyed a tour of the galleries which included a 4D film on global biomes, and took a journey back to the origins of the planet.
All pupils behaved exceptionally well and both staff and students had a fantastic day.
